Postino Osteria

Postino Osteria opened in September 2024. Housed in a heritage listed post office built in 1901, the name Postino is a play on words, meaning postman in Italian, as well as a “small but cozy place”. If you're in the Summer Hill area, near Sydney, you should definitely book a table at postino.au

I created the brand to resemble an old-style postal ink stamp to reflect the building’s history and satisfy the brief’s objectives outlined by Anna Pavoni, Chef Alessandro Pavoni and team.

There are four varying pattern colours for the Postino Osteria brand. The pattern itself is made up of ink stamps that I found on classic Italian postcards, dating back 50 years or more.

To accentuate the brand, I created a series of stamps that could be used for print pieces or social media. As you can see, I created a version that features Alessandro himself (centred).

Working with the team to create and develop the brand was an incredibly rewarding experience. They are genuinely lovely people to work with.
